Nokia 5140

Nokia 5140 is the next model in the Nokia line of phones with enhanced durability. It has well-balanced design and more entertaining functions like compass and video camera, but if you have expected something super new - you will be disappointed -

this is still a typical Series 40 phone. None of the mentioned phones is prepared for extremely severe conditions, such as mines, building construction, steel foundry, but small rain drops, a sudden fall, swimming in a lake with it, or exposure in a dusty environment, will not be of a great harm for the phones. All the three models have unique two-part construction - their two component shell consist of up and down cover - when you press the opening button - first the down cover will be removed and later the upper one.

Nokia N73

The Nokia N73 is a member of the excellent Nokia Nseries range of mobile phones and is a high end 3G device with camera and MP3 player.
Although the phone looks fairly conventional compared to some of the other Nseries phones the N73 has some very advanced features. The most striking feature is the large screen which makes the N73 stand out from other similar devices. Nokia produce the N73 in silver grey, deep plum, metallic red and frost white and from the pictures we have seen all the colours look great. Our test model was a very stylish silver grey colour. The N73 weighs 116 grams and measures 110 x 49 x 19mm and has a large 2.4 inch 262k colour TFT screen with 240 x 320 pixels resolution. One impressive feature is the light detecting screen which works to save battery and provide optimal viewing conditions by altering the brightness of the screen depending on the conditions.

A high quality 3.2 mega pixel digital camera with 20x digital zoom and impressive auto focus feature is the best feature on the N73. The built in flash has red eye reduction features and allows you to take great photos even in poor light conditions. Nokia have added a dedicated camera key so that you can access the camera quickly if you spot a photo opportunity. A number of different modes allow you to take artistic photos using effects like sepia and black and white or even night photos. In the user friendly automatic mode you simply point the camera and click and the photo will be adjusted automatically.
Being a 3G phone the N73 includes a VGA camera with digital zoom so you can conduct face to face video calls with other 3G users.
Photos are stored in the memory and can be transferred using the built in Bluetooth or USB connections. The phone uses the Nokia Xpress printing software to transfer photos to a compatible printer so you can print without the use of a PC. Nokia have included a version of Adobe Photoshop so you can edit and touch up your photos using this powerful software.
A useful video mode allows you to download, stream and capture new videos with ease.
